A female graduate is an alumna, while several female graduates are alumnae. The term “alumni,” however, is the generally accepted plural.

What is NEDAAAB? NEDAAAB is a leading non-profitable association promoting NED University of Engineering & Technology (NEDUET), Karachi, Pakistan, in Alberta and provides professional and social forum for NEDIAN of Alberta where they can interact for mutual benefit and growth.

What is the Objective of NEDAAAB?
· To serve as the linking pin between all NEDIAN throughout Canada especially in Alberta.

· To promote, develop and maintain a unified alumni association by representing the best values and traditions of NEDUET.

Who can be the member of this Alumni? Any individual, irrespective of gender, holding the degree of B.Eng/ M.Eng./ MSc., and is a graduate from NED UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (Karachi-Pakistan) or its affiliated institution, living in Alberta and willing to join the group can becomes a member of NEDAAAB.

Is there any provision for honorary member? Any Alumni member who has more than 20 years of professional experience may be granted HONORARY MEMBERSHIP of NEDAAAB. Every HONORARY MEMBER is entitled and privileged to and will be called to attend all the regular events as well as special events and shall also have equal rights to express their opinions on alumni forum. Every honorary member shall have a full right to vote and contest in election for any position in the elected committee and to participate in all benefits and programs of the alumni.

Is this Alumni registered in Alberta? Yes. NEDAAAB is a non-profit organization and registered in Alberta.

How can any alumni be a member of NEDAAAB elected committee? Elected committee members are elected by alumni members through an election process. Any registered member can be member of elected committee if and only if he/she is selected by the majority of members (participated in the election process).

What is the tenure of an elected committee? Tenure of elected committee is 24 months.
