NEDAAAB would like to continue the efforts of professional development by offering a course on an exciting Seminar in March:
Title: Understanding the Unwritten Rules of Canadian organizations
This course is intended:
Abstract: When immigrants come to Canada, they usually try to manage their careers the way they would have managed them in their home countries, at least at the beginning. Because Canada and South Asia including Pakistan operate according to different sets of unwritten rules, many South Asian immigrants experience significant frustration in Canada – they feel that their careers are not progressing nearly as fast it should. This presentation is meant to help understand how Canadian organizations operate and how they can improve their ability to influence people.
