AboveGround Storage Tank Course

As NEDAAAB keeping in view the future & current development of Oil Sand industry in Alberta, Conducted valuable technical / professional training course of AboveGround Storage Tank course on 23rd July -2011 at Transcanda building-Downtown Calgary-Alberta .About 45 participants from engineers / technologist / specialists from Process, Project, Mechanical, Piping departments, engaged in Oil and Gas facilities design and management participated in the event. NEDAAAB Course certificates issued to participants to earn APEGGA PDUs.The program successfully conducted by Fred Mckay (Senior Tank Specialist) and organized by Faheem Ahmed ,Shah Kamal, Adnan Ullah and Imran Akhter

Cricket Tournament -2011 

For the first time in the history of NEDAAAB, a full one day Cricket Tournament was organized by NEDAAAB in Calgary on July 09, 2011. The Tournament was arranged on the league basis , 8 teams each of 8 players were participated divided into two groups and top two teams from each group were qualified for the semi-finals. Congratulations to team " Run Chargers " and captain " ATA-ULLAH " for winning the first ever NEDAAAB CUP and were declared CHAMPIONS OF NEDAAAB CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2011.

The awards for best bowler and best batsman were also presented by the Cheif Guest Muhammad Yaseen (President of Pakistan Canada Association) .

The Tournament was well organized and the efforts of Organizing Committee  and Voulnteers were highly appreciated by the participants. Some very exciting and close matches in this Tournament were enjoyed by the spectators and cricket lovers. Running Commentary and expert comments were also enjoyed and appreciated. Overall this event was a huge success. NEDAAAB will continue to organize such events on regular basis which promotes unity and discipline alongwith entertainment among its members.

We would like to thank all participants, Umpires, scorers, commentators and our helping hands / Volunteers for their great effort and made this event successful and memorable. We also welcome all others who missed this exclusive event for future. 

Effective Business Writing Program

Professionals involved in writing various documents such as Emails, Memos, Minutes on a daily basis which require improvement in different areas such as appropriate Starting and Finish, Structuring, How to convey the intention in the most precise manner So NEDAAAB Organized Successfully "Effective Business Writing Course" on 7th May 2011 at Rocky Mountain College-NW -Calgary-Alberta. 35 Paticipants from different disciplines participated.The program efficiently conducted by Darlene Readwin (Professor Mount Royal University-Calgary) and Organized by Usman Khan, Adnan Ullah,Shah Kamal and Imran Akhter.

SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage) technology. Program

As NEDAAAB keeping in view the future & current development of Oil Sand industry in Alberta, Conducted valuable technical / professional training course of SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage) technology on 12th March -2011 at Transcanda building-Downtown Calgary-alberta .About 52 participants from engineers / technologist / specialists from Process, Project, Mechanical, Piping, I&C, Electrical & Civil departments, engaged in Oil and Gas facilities design and management participated in the event.NEDAAAB Course certificates issued to participants to earn APEGGA PDUs.The program successfully conducted by Nischal, Ashutosh, M. Arshadul Huda and Amer Khanand organized by Imran Akhter ,Murtaza uddin, Adnan Ullah and Faheem Ahmed

PMP Preparation /PDU earn Program

In continuation to a recent announcement about future training & technical programs by NEDAAAB, NEDAAAB Elected committee 2010-12 Successfully Conducted  PMP Preparation Training Program on January 8th,15th,22nd and 29th of 2011 from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m at Transcanda building calgary-Alberta.31 participants from differen t fields participated . The Course was conducted by . Mr. Haider Ali, Mr. Waseem Ur Rehman, Mr. Muhammad AtaUllah and Mr. Ghufran Shaikh and organized by Faiyaz syed ,Imran akhter ,Haider ali and Adnan ullah.

3rd Annual General Body meeting, NEDAAAB

3rd Annual Gneral Body meeting held Succssfully on Sunday Oct 3, 2010 (Time : 3:45 – 7:30pm) at Temple Community Center, NE. Calgary-Canda . The Event was divided into two session in wich The Annual General Body Meeting gave an opportunity for the NEDians living in Alberta to come together and discussed topics and issues of mutual interest. It was also an opportunity for members to give and receive feedbacks about NEDAAAB past, current and future performance and programs.Number of Participants attened the Meeting .The honourable quest was Mr.Khursheed Anwar and program hosted by Mr Ghufran. About 80 participants took part in this event

Quality Management Awareness Course:  Two sessions of quality awareness have been conducted on 17th and 31st of January 2010 at  Siemens Canada building NE. The Event conducted by M.Khalid and organizes by Sharif Ahmed

Presentation on Mind Science:  Under umbrella of "Professional Development Program for Community" Taskforce, a presentation on "Mind Science" were conduced on 27th March 2010 at DT Library  for general NEDAAAB members as well as for other community members.The event conducted by Haider Ali and organized by Naeem Bari and Khurram Tauheed.
